Niagara, Ontario · Community care for cats and people

Community Animal Allies of Niagara

Practical care, a path home, and a kinder future for cats and the people who love them.

Our purpose

Kindness to animals helps build a better world for everyone.

CAAN began when Niagara neighbours came together to advance a no-kill philosophy and create safer outcomes for displaced pets, community cats, and the people who care for them.

Our work brings practical programs into the community: accessible spay and neuter support, basic veterinary care referrals, adoption outreach, foster care, pet retention, and trap-neuter-return initiatives.

What we do

A practical network of care.

Every program is designed to keep animals safer, reduce barriers for families, and build compassionate communities across Niagara.

01

CatMOBILE

Mobile outreach brings adoptable cats and community education directly to Niagara neighbourhoods.

02

Spay & neuter support

We promote accessible, high-volume, low-cost options that prevent unplanned litters and help cats stay healthy.

03

Community cat care

Humane trap-neuter-return programs create a healthier, more stable future for outdoor and feral cats.

04

Operation North Star

Lost-pet resources help families take the right, species-specific steps to reunite with their companion.

Community outreach

The CatMOBILE brings care closer to the community.
